Qualifications
1. Mature and growing Christ-follower. 2. Passion for using technical skills to help create a worship atmosphere that honors God and engages the congregation. 3. Proficient knowledge of computer technology networks, worship audio, DMX lighting, media, and livestream technologies. 4. Experienced in ProPresenter, Planning Center, streaming software, Facebook, and YouTube. 5. Experience in production at a medium-sized, contemporary church is preferred, but for the right person, a desire and hunger to be thoroughly trained will also be considered. 6. A humble, coachable disposition, a teachable attitude, and a strong, collaborative work ethic. 7. A hunger and determination to constantly improve, innovate, collaborate, and move forward in all areas of production. 8. Demonstrates strong administrative skills, is a prompt, reliable, and consistent communicator, and operates within effective work patterns and systems developed by or for them and their teams. 9. Self-motivated and an effective motivator of leaders and teams; is an equipper of leaders and a team builder - recruiting, training, delegating, empowering, encouraging teams - as this person exercises leadership with grace, flexibility, and emotional intelligence. 10. Committed to the vision, mission, beliefs, and ethos of Zion Community Church and Pastors and Leadership Team.
Position Scope
We are seeking a part-time Tech Director to oversee the Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL) operations of Zion Community Church. This individual will provide technical expertise, manage equipment and volunteers, and ensure high-quality production for weekend services and special events. The Tech Director will collaborate closely with pastors and ministry leaders to support the overall worship and ministry experience.
