While attending a banquet at Philippian, the late Bishop Lawrence C.
Callahan strongly suggested the renovation and use of a building located
on the eastside of Jacksonville. Pastor Trey went into the building
to pray and seek God's will for the building and ministry. The building's
condition was horrible. The building was filled with junk. There was
no usable plumbing nor electrical wiring. In fact, the building was
not even connected to the city's utilities. In spite of this or maybe
because this, the Lord spoke to Pastor Trey. He received the revelation
through scripture that, "The glory of this latter house shall be greater
than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will
I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts." Hag 2:9. Not knowing where to
begin,
Pastor Trey consulted with King David Jones, the owner of Kidaco Construction
Co. What they thought would take a few months and an estimated $15,000.00
to $20,000.00, actually took five years and more than $65,000.00 to
complete.
In the mean time, they continued to have services in the clubhouse
until July 4th 1999. It was on this very memorable day that, Pastor
Trey was led by the Lord and permitted by his wife Cynthia to start
having services in their home (click

were able to complete the building and in July of 2000 moved in debt
free. (Click here for another before/after
